Search Engine Optimization (SEO)
Organic search is the channel that keeps working after the campaign budget is spent. I build SEO programs that fit the way your business actually operates, then measure them against goals you care about.

My SEO work started in agency paid search and organic accounts, and it has run through every role since. At UnitedHealth Group I owned the website roadmap and managed SEO and SEM as part of a wider digital program, reporting results through Google and Adobe Analytics. Before that I ran on-page SEO for subscription web communities, where search traffic was the business.
That background shapes how I approach SEO today. It is not a checklist applied to a site. It is a decision about which pages should exist, what each one needs to answer, and how the site structure, content and technical foundation work together to earn visibility for the terms that matter.
I work alongside your content, design and development teams rather than around them. Findings arrive as prioritized briefs that a developer can act on, and content recommendations come with the keyword intent and page structure already worked out.
What SEO work includes
SEO Audit
A review of crawlability, indexing, site structure, page templates and content against current search guidelines, with findings ranked by impact and effort.
Keyword Strategy
Research grouped by topic and intent, mapped to existing pages and to pages that should exist, so content work has a clear target.
On-Page Recommendations
Title tags, headings, internal links, body content and structured data recommendations for priority pages, written so a content team can apply them.
Technical Briefs
Developer-ready requirements for fixes to templates, redirects, page speed, canonical tags and crawl issues, prioritized and tracked to completion.
Content Plan
An editorial plan that fills topic gaps, refreshes pages that have slipped and retires content that no longer earns its place.
Reporting
Dashboards and monthly readouts that connect rankings and organic traffic to leads, conversions and the goals set at the start.
How I approach SEO
Set the goals and baseline
We agree on what organic search needs to deliver for the business, then I document where traffic, rankings and conversions stand today.
Audit and prioritize
I review the technical foundation, content and competitive landscape, and turn the findings into a ranked backlog rather than a long list.
Brief the work
Each item becomes a brief for the right team: a developer ticket, a content assignment or a design change, with acceptance criteria included.
Ship and measure
As work goes live I track the pages affected and report on movement against the baseline, adjusting the plan as results come in.
Where this comes from
I have managed SEO as a specialist at agencies, as the owner of a subscription publisher's organic growth, and as the digital marketing and content manager responsible for UnitedHealth Group's website roadmap. The common thread is translating what search engines reward into work that design, content and development teams can deliver.
See my experienceBrittany was a dedicated, accountable person to deal with in her last position. Whenever she did not have an answer for me, she would go out of her way to find the information needed. Her knowledge of SEO gained our website more hits than any previous marketing strategies to date.

Frequently asked
How long does SEO take to show results?
Technical fixes and on-page improvements often show movement within a few months, while new content and authority building take longer. I set expectations from the baseline and report progress monthly so you can see the trend rather than wait for a single result.
Do you work with our existing developers and writers?
Yes. Most of my SEO work is delivered as briefs and requirements for the teams you already have. I have managed delivery across design, content and development teams for years and I am comfortable working inside your process.
Can you help with SEO in a regulated industry?
Yes. At UnitedHealth Group I ensured healthcare content met regulatory, risk and security standards while running SEO and SEM programs. I plan for review cycles from the start so compliance does not stall the work.
What do you need from us to get started?
Access to analytics and search data, a sense of your business goals, and a contact on the content and development side. From there I can establish a baseline and propose a plan within the first few weeks.

Technical SEO Audits
A technical SEO audit answers a simple question: can search engines find, render and index the pages that matter, and what is stopping them? I crawl the site, diagnose the causes and hand your developers a ranked list of fixes with acceptance criteria.

Keyword data is cheap. Knowing which terms deserve a page, which belong together and which to ignore is the work. I turn raw search data into a topic map your content and development teams can build from.

Most sites already have the pages they need to rank. They are just not written for the searches they could win. I optimize existing pages element by element, so each one answers the intent behind the query and can compete for it.
